Our essay coach was Maryam. My son had signed up at the last minute and only had about 1 week to prepare his college application essays. He was 15 years old (and on the Autism spectrum making it difficult to finish on a timely basis). We were so impressed by Maryam’s calm approach and knowledge for the various essay questions. Maryam customized a plan that was specific to his needs. We could tell that Maryam cared about my son doing well and thus she made herself available for him everyday. My son got into his dream school and is going to be in the class of 2027! Our only regret was not finding Maryam sooner.

Thanks to Affirm Education, I got accepted into both the Harvard and Brown Pre-Collegiate Summer programs! I’m going to be applying to Ivy league schools for college admissions in the Fall of 2024 and I’ll be working with Essay Guru

My instructor at Affirm helped me with my essays and I really liked taking the essay course with her. There was a lot that I didn’t know about writing and Maryam shared her ideas in a very ordered and detailed way so that I had the feeling that I learned something valuable after every session. Overall a very good experience, I would definitely recommend.
